Skin pores are like small pits on the face that appear like an orange peel-not an attractive image. These pores cause the face to look dull and aged. People with oily skin are prone to this problem, thanks to excessive sebum production.

CAUSES OF LARGE –LOOKING OPEN PORES

  • High level of oil (sebum) production
  • Reduced elasticity around pores
  • Thick hair follicles
  • Genetics or heredity
  • Reduction of collagen production in skin, caused by aging
  • Sun damage or overexposure to the sun

 

REMEDIES

  1. HONEY

  • Apply honey on all the affected areas on your face. Let it sit for 15 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.
  • Rinse again with cool water.
  • Apply honey every day or every alternate day on your face.

 

  1. COSMETIC CLAY AND ROSE WATER

  • Add enough rose water to the 2 tablespoon cosmetic clay(bentonite or kaolin) to make a fine paste.
  • Apply an even layer of the clay mask and leave it on for 15 minutes.
  • Rinse with cool water.
  • Repeat this twice a week.

 

  1. TOMATO AND HONEY

  • Take out the pulp of the tomato and mix honey in it.
  • Apply this as a face pack on your face and neck.
  • Let it dry for 10 to 12 minutes and then rinse.
  • Use this face pack daily.

 

  1. TEA TREE OIL AND WATER

  • Pour the water into the spray bottle, add the tea tree oil, and shake well. Store this bottle in the refrigerator.
  • Once it is cool, spritz some of this water all over your face.
  • Let this water evaporate naturally. use this spray as a facial toner every morning and evening on a clean face.
  1. TURMERIC

  • Mix the turmeric with water to get a smooth paste.
  • Apply this on the affected area and let it sit for about 10
  • Rinse with water.
  • Use this remedy every alternate day.

 

  1. HONEY AND LEMON JUICE

  • Gently mix the honey and lemon juice in the brown sugar.
  • Wash your face with normal water.
  • Before the sugar starts to melt, massage the scrub gently on the affected region for three to five minutes.
  • Rinse off with warm water.

 

  1. OLIVE OIL

  • Massage the olive oil on the large pores in gentle circular motions for a few minutes.
  • Rinse the oil off with lukewarm water.
